EXCITING REPORT ON HER PROGRESSIVE RECOVERY AFTER ONLY 4 MONTHS ON THE CFIDS PROTOCOL FROM JOHANNESBURG BASED, 16 YEAR OLD FORMERLY BEDRIDDEN CFIDS PATIENT. (JULY 2009 REPORT)

Hi Dr Petrovic,

Yes, Im sorry I havent corresponded for some time - but I have been overseas for the last week and a little hectic this end. With regard to Kelsey... a gradual but massive improvement.

Her energy levels have definately increased and she is managing to go to school for 2 to 3 hours a day for the last 3 weeks. After our last correspondence, I had a meeting with the school and they have been very supportive and understanding. She is not required to do any homework or tests etc.. so the stress has been taken off her, which has definately helped her psychologically. Her sleeping patterns also seem to have improved. I find that her energy and good health goes up and down in waves and after 5 or 6 "good days" needs a full day to rest and recover. It seems that the wave of "good days" are getting longer than the "bad days". She still battles to concentrate and after her 2 hours of school often complains of a headache (especially if she has had a long session of maths).

I will remind her again today to complete the questionaire on the website.

Kind regards,
Tracey Morris
